About Audara

A calmer, more personal path forward.

We provide psychiatric care that is collaborative, unhurried, and grounded in your real life. Our approach blends modern psychiatry with evidence-based natural therapies, thoughtful listening, and a deeper understanding of your biology, history, hormones, lifestyle, and goals.

Medication is one tool—not the entire solution. We also integrate psychotherapy, nutritional and botanical support, and hormone-aware care when appropriate to support emotional healing and lasting progress.

Payment & Insurance Information

Everything you need to know about fees, payment methods, insurance reimbursement, and additional patient support.

How to Pay?

All payments are due at the time of service. Receipts and superbills are available for reimbursement through your insurance if applicable.

We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Online payments through your patient portal

Why we don’t work directly with insurance

By staying independent from insurance, we are able to provide thoughtful, evidence-based, integrative care focused entirely on you—not paperwork, delays, or payer restrictions.

  • Longer, more meaningful appointments
  • Treatment tailored to you rather than what a plan covers
  • Confidential care without insurer involvement
  • Holistic options such as supplements, genetics, and therapeutic coaching

Can I still use my insurance?

Yes — most of our patients can. We provide superbills (medical receipts) for those with out-of-network benefits to submit to their insurance for partial reimbursement.

If this is important to you, we encourage you to:

  • Call your insurer to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits
  • Use tools like Reimbursify or Mentaya to simplify the reimbursement process
Choosing your care provider

Same care philosophy, different paths of training.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Master’s or doctoral training in psychiatric nursing with a holistic, patient-centered approach to diagnosis, treatment, and education.

Psychiatrist (MD)

A medical doctor with specialty training in psychiatry and a deep foundation in medical, biological, and psychological aspects of mental health.

Second opinions and complex concerns

If you would like a second opinion or a consult with our MD psychiatrist for complex concerns or medication questions, we are happy to provide that as a separate service and will discuss fees in advance.

Questions, answered

Care should feel clear from the beginning.

We are here to help you understand your options and feel confident about the next step.

Remaining independent allows us to offer longer, more meaningful appointments and holistic options that insurance often does not cover. We provide superbills for eligible out-of-network reimbursement.

Many patients can submit a superbill to their insurer for partial reimbursement. We recommend reviewing your out-of-network mental health benefits with your carrier.

It is a brief conversation to explore fit, symptoms, and goals. It is not a formal evaluation or medical advice.

Yes. We are happy to provide a second opinion for complex concerns or medication questions as a separate service.
